Membership in NYCT

As a NYCT member you will enjoy the following benefits:

All memberships, excluding Lifetime and Honorary Lifetime, run for one calendar year, January 1st through December 31st, and are renewable on January 1st of every year. Special conditions apply to first-time student, individual and corporate members who join after July 1st (see below).

How To Join

To join NYCT, please use this form to enter your data into the NYCT membership database, then pay your dues in either of the following ways:

(1) send your payment to treasurer@nyctranslators.org via https://www.paypal.com/. Click on Send Money, then fill out the SEND MONEY form

or

(2) print your completed form and mail it along with your check payable to 'NYCT' or 'The New York Circle of Translators' to

Please note: Your data will be not published in the NYCT Online Membership Directory until after your payment has been received and recorded.

Classes of Membership

$40	Student	Requires a current student ID. This class is valid only while a bona fide student, for a maximum of four (4) years. First-time student members joining between July 1st and December 31st pay $60, covering membership for both the remainder of the current calendar year and the entire following year (not applicable to renewing or lapsed members).
$50	Individual	Includes listings in the NYCT Online Membership Directory and the annual NYCT printed Membership Directory. Includes referrals, if the member so chooses. First-time individual members joining between July 1st and December 31st pay $75, covering membership for both the remainder of the current calendar year and the entire following year (not applicable to renewing or lapsed members).
$75	Corporate	Includes listings in the NYCT Online Membership Directory and the annual NYCT printed Membership Directory. Includes the right to cite NYCT corporate membership on the company's letterhead and/or website, and a link from the NYCT Online Membership Directory to the company's website. First-time corporate members joining between July 1st and December 31st pay $110, covering membership for both the remainder of the current calendar year and the entire following year (not applicable to renewing or lapsed members).
$100 or more	Patron	For individuals only. Includes all the benefits of Individual membership, plus special mention in the annual NYCT printed Membership Directory.
$150 or more	Corporate Patron	For corporate members only. Includes all the benefits of Corporate membership, plus special mention in the annual NYCT printed Membership Directory.
$700	Lifetime	For individuals only. Includes all the benefits of Individual membership, plus special mention in the annual NYCT printed Membership Directory. The one-time payment of dues is valid for the member's lifetime.
	Honorary Lifetime	For individuals only. Includes all the benefits of Lifetime membership. This status is conferred in exceptional cases by the NYCT Board of Directors, in recognition of outstanding service to the Circle. It is valid for the member's lifetime.
