BEST PRACTICES IN WORKING WITH COURT INTERPRETERS - A NEW YORK CITY BAR CONTINUING EDUCATION EVENT
NYCT is pleased to announce that we have partnered with the ATA's Law Division and the New York City Bar Association to organize a CLE (Continuing Legal Education) event for attorneys and judges about effectively collaborating with court interpreters. The panel will address the many ethical, legal, and practical issues that arise in the courtroom and elsewhere, and how attorneys can best avail themselves of court interpreting services.
The panel will be moderated by a criminal court trial attorney and panelists include a Justice of the Supreme Court of New York and three court interpreters, including longtime NYCT member and former NYCT President Leonard Morin.
The webinar will be held on July 15, 2025, from 5:00-6:30pm. More information and registration on the NYC Bar Association website here: Best Practices in Working With Court Interpreters and Ethical Issues in Court Interpreting
