Join Us for OUR Fall Coworking Online

Got a task you’ve been putting off for days… or months? Need that extra push to tackle the most boring project in the history of project-kind? Feeling a little isolated in your home office? Join us in November for an online coworking session.

This free meeting will be hosted by the NYCT and ATA Business Practices Education Committee.

Date and time

Wednesday, November 19, from noon to 1:30 p.m. EST.

How it works

We start with a quick round of introductions, in which each attendee states what they plan to work on (optional, no obligation to share). Then we spend about 70 minutes on focused, independent work, with a short stretch break in the middle. At the end, we all give the group a progress update and have a brief chat.

Why should you join?

You get to know new people and expand your network while also getting work done! Plus, the accountability and body-doubling helps many people stay focused on difficult or boring tasks. Of course, the event is free, too!

Note: Attendance is limited. Sign up now to reserve your spot!

Hosts

The event will be co-hosted by Laurie Bennett from the ATA Business Practices Committee and NYCT.

Testimonials

Not sure if this is for you? Here’s what a few past participants have shared:

The coworking sessions are an opportunity to force myself to complete tasks that I’ve been putting off. Being in an online meeting creates just enough peer pressure to keep me focused and prevents me from wandering off to procrastinate yet again.”

“These sessions are great for boosting productivity, whether you’re tackling backburner tasks or working on a translation project. But what I love most about them is the chance to connect with colleagues.”
